What is going on ? Is this a secret? Searching all over the place and not getting an answer. Lots of info and registering and authorizing but the articles never mention the obvious!

I put the question in the title so hopefully the next person will find the answer ...quickly.

There is link for this question in an article that leads to a dead page??

Yes, very easy. You just log into your account, and do it from there.

A quick Google search on Finale Authorizations would have brought this up first.

A quick search of this forum would have shown you what Mike R said. I have no idea how many threads but it's a lot.

That happens.

You don't say what version of Finale you are using. PrintMusic, Songwriter, Allegro etc. are allowed one computer at a time.

You can have the program authorized on two computers at any one time.

It can be installed on as many computers as you like, but only two can be authorized.

Thank you mike

So desktop at the office and home. 3 would be best but hopefully it's easy to de-authorize one and add the laptop.

I really hate the laptop though;)

A minor correction: IIRC Finale allows authorization on two machines simultaneously, which is not the same as allowing them to be used concurrently.

I did a lengthy search Mike and I know how to search and the only thing I found was the dead "oops" page. It is frustrating to have to read through things that you are not looking for. even with control F. I think this is the only thread with the question in the title so people can find it.

You're welcome.

All articles on authorization should mention it in the beginning  . "Finale allows two computers to run the application concurrently. To authorize log in...etc    .."

Your right though Google would have been quicker.
