(MAC OS 10.13.5, Finale 25.5.0.259) I am working on a contrapuntal arrangement. I need to make a piano reduction from 4 staves to 2staves.

When I do the piano reduction, the contrapuntal lines are lost. What I want to do is to build a new document with just a 2 stave piano part but maintain the contrapuntal lines. I'm thinking that Voice1 and Voice2 would be the way to go but I do not want to re-enter all the note data a second time.

How do I do this?
There are by the way 18 sections to the arrangement so this is a major issue.

You can change the bottom voices (staves 2 & 4) to layer 2 in the full score and then copy them in to the piano score individually. Use the "show active layer only" feature when pasting music with multiple voices in a single stave while the appropriate layer is selected.

You can also try the implode music feature.
