Hi, guys,  It seems as if Aria and SmartSynth have sound loaded more for traditional orchestral sounds.  I find only limited "jazz" keys sounds, a few electric keyboards on Garritan and SmartSynth.  It would be nice to have more cool sounds both in the keyboards part of the software but also in the "synth" areas--I've used "warm" pad, "halo," etc., a lot.  It would be nice if the Finale coders could give me some more sounds to play with.

Although Finale may add more Jazz sounds to future included sounds, they are likely hoping you will give in and buy the JABB package from Garritan.

 

I am guessing you have already taken advantage of the free sounds offered via Plogue.com for their Sfortzando player, since these sounds can also run through the Aria player.
