Hi—

I would love to be able to "split the keyboard" of the ARIA Player to use different instruments based upon the range of "keys pressed" (i.e. MIDI signals received)—so that the lower portion of the keyboard plays timpani, the middle tubular bells, and the top glockenspiel, for instance.

Until that's possible, I'd certainly appreciate suggestions for other ways to use multiple Garritan sounds at the same time in live performances....

Thanks!

David

Great suggestion. IMO that is basic functionality that should there and unfortunately it is not. Also, there is no way to transpose? I would like to layer instruments and transpose up or down by an octave for a more thick sound.

I like these suggestions.  I too was looking for the ability to do Dual Voice and/or Split Voice with the Aria Player. I understand the Voices might be limited by the intersection of the overlapping ranges of the Voices for Dual Voices, thus the Transpose up or down octave(s) would be a great solution.  The capability of the Aria Engine seems to allow this, but the Player seems to be limited to one Voice at a time. Am I correct?

I own Finale Version 2.6 on a Windows 10 Machine. I am quite new to Finale and was delighted by the inclusion and the capability of the Garritan Software Synthesizer.
