I use this FinaleScript to shorten note durations, mainly for phrasing and more realistic wind instrument playback:
midi
Menu Item "clear"
Menu Item "MIDI Tool/Percent Alter..."
type 85 near "Make all Durations:"
hit ok
This script worked fine in Finale 25.5 in MacOS High Sierra, but since I updated to Mojave, the script works, but it stays on the screen even with the "hit ok" indication and with "give focus back to doc window after running a script" and "don't show the palette when calling a script from the menu" checked in FinaleScript Options.
Based on my testing, the "hit ok" command does not work in Mojave and Finale 25.5. I have tried hit, enter, and press with ok, enter, and return, and all of their combinations. None of these works.
Can anyone duplicate this problem? Is there a syntax I've missed that lets "hit ok" or something like it work correctly (to close the script screen after its completion and return the focus back to the document)?
Thanks.
