FINALE 26 upgrade Windows. When I open an old score from a two-year oldversion of FINALE....the new version adds many unwanted markings. For example, tons of staccato marks are inserted...even on rests! Strange...how would someone play those?
And in places where a note has an accent or staccato mark attached...an extra one is added.
There's a good chance that those articulations, especially the double ones, were there all along, perhaps due to the music having been imploded, and that they're just showing up now after being hidden or superimposed before. Did you select No when Finale 26 asked you if you wanted to update the articulation positioning?
