In Finale 2014 when I follow the directions so that endings and repeats show up in all extracted parts multiple part designations vanish in my score. Example: flute 1, flute 2, flute 3 just becomes flute, flute, flute... which becomes very inconvenient when extracting parts. Any ideas?

List the exact steps you do when this problems occur. Repeat endings have nothing to do with part names which tells me this is something that you're doing inadvertantly.

Plugins > Scoring and Arranging > Global Staff Attributes > Ending and Text Repeats

Not enough information. Please list your exact steps you take when this happens.

 

FWIW, if you use a staff list when you add repeat endings to a score, you can specify what staves in the score show the repeat endings and select to show these repeat endings on all parts. There should be no extra steps or plugins needed to make these display.
