I would like to purchase an upgrade for a friend who has an older version of Finale, 2010, I think.   She cannot open things I send her, even when I export to 2012.  So, what is the process?   Do I need her Authorization Code?   Or does she actually have to do the download from MakeMusic herself?   She is a music teacher, does piano lessons, but her primary job is as a voice teacher.    She is an accomplished singer, sings barbershop harmony with Sweet Adelines, directs a chorus and also sing in an International champion quartet, 2017 Sweet Adelines International Quartet, "Frenzy".   I have been doing transcriptions and arranging for her and her chorus for a few years, but now she can't open my Finale scores.   So, she needs the upgrade.    How do I accomplish this?
