I upgraded to the newest Finale.

I reported this bug a year ago.

Apparently it has been around for a LONG time.

It is still there - you cannot copy and paste a measure with a staff style in a part, only in the score (and then it does not appear in the part)

This is a BIG pain in the ass especially when it comes to Drum Set parts:(

Any plans to fix?

Thanks,

Windows 10; Finale 26

Hi.

This problem still exists with the latest version. What a pain! Truly a pain.

Sorry . It seems to be partially repaired. When I copy the staff style bars in the score, they actually do appear in the part. Thank you.

Nope - I Take it back - I am mistaken - just copied a bar with the "one bar repeat" style in the score and in the part I see the notes, not the repeat symbol.

Pain.

I'll stop posting. Thanks for your patience.

Yup! Still there after almost 12 years! (version 2007, the first version with linked parts).

Even though they CLAIMED to have fixed it in one of the early updates, it wasn't fixed, and stays firmly there, mocking us with our inability to remember to select the Staff Tool, go to the score, Select All, and choose "Use selected staff styles for score and parts" before we create multimeasure rests or do anything having to do with part formatting.

Actually "firmly" might be a misnomer. It sometimes works as required, until it doesn't. Inconsistent application of a rule is worse than a consistent bug.
