Using v26 on Mojave, but this problem was happening before I upgraded to Mojave. Unique to v26.

Occasionally when I enable the chord tool, once I click on a measure to begin typing, the cursor is in a different measure, and on a completely different stave. The only way I can circumvent the problem is to other restart Finale, or (if I already have some chord symbols on the intended stave) double click an existing chord symbol, hit spacebar until I reach the desired measure, and then begin typing.
