Hello!
Sometimes I need to play something on my digital piano (which is the MIDI input) before writing it. I want to play using the piano's sounds instead of Garritans (for a couple of reasons) and here comes my question: How do I turn finale's sounds off temporarily? One option is to turn computer's volume to zero, but this is inconvenient. Another option is MIDI/audio>Device setup>MIDI Setup>select "none" as input, but… come on.

Finale v.25, windows 7.

My actual solution is done through FinaleScript and using a keyboard shortcut, but anyways, is there a convenient tool?

I have MIDI Thru turned off by default, but that's just my solution.

Actually that's the perfect solution. With Shortcut for the script turning it on/off it's all I needed.

Thanks!
