I added 2 instruments to my score (4th movement of my 3rd symphony)  and the first page only, dropped below the bottom of the page, the rest of the pages are fine.  How do I correct this?  Each movement is a separate file and the first movement has more instruments in its scoring and the first page is fine.  How can I correct this?

 

I have the latest version of Finale AND a MAC High Sierra if that helps!

  1. If you have space, you can use the Page Layout Tool to edit/reduce the top margin of the first system.
  2. You can use the Staff Tool to narrow the spacing between staves on the first page (by dragging qualifying staves up, moving from top to bottom).
    or
  3. You can use the Resize (%) Tool to resize the system on the first page by right-clicking on a measure on the system involved.

Thank you so much.. I did suggestion 3.   Was easier/simpler!   I can compose some awesome music.. Just an idiot when it comes to computers! :)
