Greetings,

On Windows 7 64x, Print Music Finale 2010.

 

I entered a quarter note in the 4th bar in the piece I am working on: In the bass clef an E below the bottom A. I then entered a second quarter note (the bottom A) and it did not space away from the first but was slightly to the right of the E. So I deleted the A and then tried to delete the E. Nothing happened. I tried "delete measure stack" several times, but the measure would not delete either.

Thanks for any help I may get.

Try this:

 

Selection Tool.

Double-click the note you need to delete.

You will get to Simple Entry Tool, with the note selected, so that you can delete it.

If Peter's solution doesn't work, try selecting one of the other notes, and advancing to yours with the arrow keys.

 

If we misunderstand, post a screenshot.
