Win 10, Finale 2012

I have the title and instrument on all the pages of the parts (Text, Inserts, Part/Score Name).  But how do I get the 2nd and following pages to use the abbreviated instrument names from the Score Manager?

That's the industry standard, right?  I would think it would be under Document, Page Format, Parts, but it's not.

Also, why am I having to write in "Violin 1" (for example) in a text box on the first page of the part, when that is how the staff is labelled to begin with?  So, now there are two "Violin 1" labels on the score, and none of them line up with their respective staves.  It's confusing if you have to do more work on the piece.  Couldn't these automatically print with a show/hide option?

To answer one of your questions, the engraving I do for US publishers uses the full instrument name on page 2 to the end. We do not use an abbreviated name. We just put the same "Part/Score name" insert on page 2.
