Just one day too late, I suppose. Trying to install Finale 2014.5 on my new MacBook Air and it's crashing when I try to authorize it. Very frustrating not to be able to speak with a Finale rep about it. Maybe it's time to switch to Sibelius. Wasting so much time dealing with this. Thanks for your stellar customer support, Finale!

HI Richard,

It sounds like you have found out that we recently discontinued support for Finale 2014.5 and I am sure this is a bit frustrating for sure. Based off of the information you have here, it sounds like you are dealing with a compatibility issue here. Your new MacBook Air most likely has macOS 10.14 Mojave installed on it and Finale 2014.5 is not considered compatible nor was it supported with this macOS. Unfortunately this is just not going to work.

As an immediate solution if you have looming deadlines to meet, you can download the free trial of the latest release, v26, which is designed to work with your macOS. If you would like to contact us directly, feel free to use the Submit a Request option and submit the request under the Purchase and Sales category.
