Hello,

I was wondering what I can possibly do so that Logic Pro X does not crash when I chose Garritan Aria Player as an instrument. I own Finale 25.5 and I was able to open instruments from Garritan on Logic Pro X before, but now I get the pop up message ''Aria Player is corrupted, please reinstall''. I have reinstalled it, of course, but the problem persists. I also cannot open Finale anymore with Garritan Player. Is something missing? have to reassign other sounds...I have the same problem whenever I click on the Plogue art et technologie.

Hi Alexandra, 

 

It's unfortunate that you are experiencing this behavior. However, I think that we should be able to resolve this quickly for you. 

 

First, we will want to remove the current ARIA Player and it's components. You can do that with the steps provided in this knowledge base article: https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/217750048-Rolling-back-to-an-earlier-version-of-the-ARIA-Player-ARIA-Engine-=

 

Also, we will want to remove the plug-in component too. This is in the /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components directory. Delete the ARIA Player Au.component, empty your trash and restart your computer.

 

Now run your Finale v25 installer again and then test the ARIA Player in Finale and Logic Pro X and you should get different results. If not, use the Submit a Request option above to get in touch with us and we take a closer look into this directly with you.
