I'm attempting to work on a new piece for marching band, but none of my drumline sounds are working. They worked fine before I upgraded to v26 from v25. I've tried resetting it in the ScoreManager and Aria player to no avail. Windows 10

I'm still on v25, but here's what I got from support when I was first trying to make drumline parts.  I have never worked much with percussion sounds and had not clicked to reveal the Percussion Midi Map, thus my sounds were not working correctly.  I assume you've probably already done all this, but just in case you haven't, here's how to make sure things are assigned correctly.  The only sound I can't get to play back is the cymbal line from VDLite.

Support:

I was looking at your file "Percussion Sound Test", and it looks as though the Percussion MIDI Map chosen for this file is the General MIDI Percussion Map. This MIDI Map is not designed to work with VDLite instruments, which are the sounds you have chosen for all instruments except the Quad Toms.

You can change this MIDI Map selection under Window>ScoreManager>Instrument List. Ensure that the Percussion MIDI Map column is set up for display under Customize View. Ensure that the appropriate Percussion MIDI Maps are selected for playback from the drop down menus. For example, for your VDLite Snareline staff, you would want to select Perc. MIDI Map>Tapspace Drumline for Finale>VDLite Snarline

You can read more about assigning percussion MIDI Maps for the VDLite sounds here:
