I use Finale 2014.5 and I want to know if it's possible to use my sustain pedal connected to my MIDI keyboard to enter a tie.  I thought one way to do it would be to create a key map in speedy options but when I select the "listen" button for the tie, Finale doesn't "hear" the pedal.  I can however assign a midi note which means Finale is detecting a MIDI note message but not from the sustain pedal. Any advice on how to achieve this? Thank you!
