What you have is correct. The ending barline is the same thickness as the repeat barline, so it doesn't show. An option is to add a 1st and 2nd ending to the repeat, then your 2nd ending will contain a final barline which is displayed.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand your explanation. If also 'Close barline at the end of the system' is selected (which does show a barline without breaks at the end of a system) shoudn't then the end barline show without breaks? I don't understand what it would have to do with line thickness.

I think there was a misunderstanding of what you wanted. In any case, the backward repeat is overriding the systemic right barline. You'll have to add those in using the expression tool.
