Win 10 home

The time signature from the pit orchestra template does not work when writing cut time.  In the part, it shows the common time signature, and displays it about 3 staff lines too high.  In the score, a rectangle is displayed 3 lines too high.  Is this a known problem?  I hope this can be fixed.

The problem is there's no cut time character in the font. It doesn't exist. You choice is to just use numbers in you time signatures (use 2/2 for cut time) , or switch the font used in the score for time signatures, back to 24. pt. Maestro and display time signatures small and on every staff.

This has been like this forever, don't hold your breath waiting for it to get fixed.

Regarding time signatures being placed too high, if it's not correct in the template, you can change the vertical placement of time signatures in document options.
