Suddenly no sound through VST

Suddenly I got no sound through VST. There is output on the mixer and on the vst instruments . But no sound. And there is no sound in "Test Audio Output" in Audio Setup. I tried to rescan the the VST Plug-ins. I tried to load a empty document and start from the beginning again. I tried off course to restart Finale and Windows.

My VST plug-ins works perfect in my DAW.

I'm on Finale v26 and windows 10.

Any idea ?

I had this experience yesterday (on everything) and found that somehow my speaker output in Windows 10 had been zero'd out. I reset the slider in my control panel, and everything came back.

Not sure if that is what happened to you. If you were running your DAW at the same time, some audio drivers grab exclusive control of the sound card, in which case closing other programs and restarting the computer might work.

Problem solved.

I changed the default midi driver from loopMidi to my normal midi driver and removed all the VST instruments from instrument list. And reloaded them again and then I have sound again :)
