HI everyone,

Using Finale 25 and have done some backing piano tracks with solo instrument to use in SmartMusic. Exported as solo (trumpet and trombone) and when played back in SmartMusic the solo part is played extremely high. The trombone one you can hear but the trumpet is that high that you can only hear their lowest written notes - others beyond my hearing range. LOL!!   

Not sure if this is a SmartMusic issue or a Finale one. Thought Finale since it's written and exported from Finale.

Any help much appreciated.

Using Finale 25 (latest version) with Windows 10 (updating to 26 shortly)

Could you post a screenshot of your Score Manager panel? That might help us diagnose the problem.

Here's the screen shot of the score manager. I've got finale 26 now and tried it there and same problem.

It's exported into SmartMusic as a Solo file type.

Have you tried changing from VST playback to MIDI output (in the MIDI/Audio menu) on a copy of your file and exporting that to SmartMusic just to see what happens?
