Cannot download Finale v26.1 update for MacOS

I am unable to download the Finale 26.1 update just announced.

When selecting Finale -> Check for update... I get this dialog:

I have Finale 26.0.1.706 installed with MacOS 10.14.3 (18D109)

Restarting my system, and re-launching Finale does not resolve the issue. I've tried this several times and get the same problem each time.

Anyone else seeing this issue?

Hi folks. The 26.1 update should be available in-app later today. In the meantime, you can download the Mac update here and the Windows update here. Sorry for the confusion.

There's a 26.1 update? I hadn't heard. Checking from within Finale, my screen says the same.

Logging into my account, it does say,

Finale v26.1 for Macintosh

Your download should begin automatically. If it doesn't, click the Download button below.

It is letting me download. I guess I'll know more in 20 minutes or so.

Me too (Windows 10). "Check for Update" says I'm up to date. I'll try downloading from web site.

Yep! Log into your User Account at https://store.makemusic.com/Downloads and you'll be good to go.

I was surprised that it also downloaded and ran the GIFF installer for me. If that doesn't happen for you, it might be because I'm on a new iMac as of last week.

Downloads, but does not accept my password to INSTALL 26.1. Changed my password in my account-still

no result.

Hi Elda. Finale doesn't require your MakeMusic password to install. If you're on Mac, you're likely being prompted for your Apple password to continue the installation. This is a security feature of macOS.
