OS: Windows 10 Version: Finale 26.1
I've been working on a large orchestral project and using keyswitches to send articulations to Vienna Symphony Library. I now have determined that I need to work in a more traditional DAW environment. I have Sonar X3 and Studio One Pro 3.5. So far I can't find a way to export from Finale in a format that I can import into Sonar or Studio One that includes the keyswitches.
Exporting midi doesn't capture the keyswitches.
I know the keyswitches are being handled by the XML export and import for Finale, because I can export the file, and then import it to a new file and the keyswitches make the journey.
However, Sonar and Studio One don't import the xml from Finale.
Does anyone here have experience programming in XML? Seems like if I had access to the Studio One file format and the Finale file format I could create some kind of translation table. But of course, it's a big leap from such an idea to something that exists!
But am I missing something simple and obvious?
Any and all suggestions most welcome.
