Greetings,
First I would like to compliment Garritan and the players that support the product on its ease of use, documentation and support. The quality of the product speaks for itself.
I do have a small suggestion pertaining to the half(partial) pedal feature. First, really cool it's there. However, I am wondering if it would be possible to add a control where the player could set the minimum and maximum values (0-127) for the release state of the dampers.
This first came up when I contacted support asking them is there was a config file where I could alter the value where partial and full pedalling would begin. I was advised that there was not way for the user to access the value(s) and that it might be an idea to suggest it in this forum.
I have a StudioLogicSL88 Studio controller with an SL 3 pedal addon; the sustain pedal being continuous. I think that different continuous sustain pedals from different manufacturers have different 'personalities'. Some may engage sooner, or later; have different resolutions, etc. I find that, with my pedal, the sustain goes to max with very little pedal travel...kinda like a hair trigger.
Current control:
Continuous Controller value for pedal (hardwired in the instrument at 64 I believe)
New controls:
Minimum Engagement CC Value (where partial damper release is activated 0 - 127)
Maximum CC Value (where full sustain is achieved 0 - 127 must be > Minimum)
I don't know how many damper pedal positions were sampled, so I have no idea what would (could) happen between the Min and Max values.
Example:
Set Min at 25 (activate partial pedal)
Set Max at 44 (activate full pedal)
I'm up in Canada where it's the Victoria Day weekend. So, happy Memorial Day (upcoming) to my American cousins. And for all others, I hope your next holiday is safe and enjoyable.
I'd like to thank you for taking the time to look at this and hope you will consider implementing this feature.

Not sure what version of Garritan I have. Purchased 17/04/19
