I recently upgraded to Finale 26. Now, whenever I open something created in Finale 25, it warns me that it will update. After I do that, there is no sound during playback. I can go into Score Manager and change the device to something else and back and it works. I must be missing something. Is there a better way to get the playback to work as it did before? Not sure if this is a Finale or a Garritan issue so I'm starting here.

Hi James,
We would expect that you should get the same playback in v26 as you did in v25. From the information you have here though, it's a bit difficult to tell precisely what the problem could be. The first place I would check is the volume levels at MIDI/Audio > VST Banks and Effects... If this is not the cause of the issue you should use the Submit a Request button at the top of the page to open a case with us directly. I'm sure that we can figure this out quickly.
