I just got a great improvement on the Aria Player, in the orchestral sounds I use, by switching the Scala Center from C5 to A4. There was a klunkiness in the orchestra bells, and I thought, "well, that's just how it is." Evidently not; now they have a clean, clear ring, and I didn't change the pitches at all.
So I'm going through the different tunings available, too.
Increasing the buffer size really helped, also.
Are there any other ways to just get a huge improvement in sound-quality across the board with a simple tweak?
Thanks!
