I'm trying to register for finaletips.nu.
I see places to enter email address and password. But, I don't see where new users would register.
I've tried my makemusic email, and it didn't take it, so it's not that
Mac 10.13.6 Finale 26
Thank you
There is nothing that will let you change the playback sequence on the fly to account for the number of solos, unless you could figure out a way to use a foot pedal to trigger a loop. And I’m pretty sure you would have to go to a sequencer for that. The only thing I can suggest for practice is to write the score out fully, with no repeats. You can set it up with as many solo sections as you like. It’s just copy and paste.
You can try sending Jari an email, although I’ve never heard of anyone getting a response...

How does that help, if I don't know exactly how many choruses there's going to be?
Thanks for the tip, re: Jari is not likely to respond.
Can you recommend someone else who may take a look at this for me?
Thank you.
For practice purposes at home, there's nothing unreasonable about using a fixed number of measures for a solo section. The Jamey Aebersold recordings have help thousands of jazz students for decades, practicing improvisation at home using this exact concept.
For live performance, many musicians use backing tracks, using fixed length tracks. I don't believe even DAWs can do what you're asking.
