I'm having some frustrating problems with Finale Playback. I get the parts balanced vis a vis volume and velocities, and then suddenly, without changes to velocity or volume, certain parts will get louder and other parts will get softer. It is very frustrating and makes it nearly impossible to get a decent playback. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am using Finale 26 (latest version) on Windows 10 (up to date version) with a fresh download of the Garritan Anthology  instruments.

I think I may have figured out what the problem is. When you are in a staff set other than "all staves", the balance is changed. So I need to do all my balancing and tweeking in the all staves view.  Let me know if I'm off base on this.

I have been having the same problem for months. Of course I expected this to be fixed in the latest upgrade ...Hahaha. It's more complicated that the stave issue.

Same problem here. Accentuated by using GPO and third-party instruments (Spitfire BBC strings).  But the problem is so irrational, and so hard to fix... for example, my first and second violins (from Spitfire) are preposterously loud compared to the violas, cellos & basses. I end up putting them way down in the mix ... but it truly doesn't make sense.

One of the benefits of NotePerformer is that the parts are generally balanced against each other in a way that an orchestra would be.
