I have Finale v26 on a Windows 10 and Garritan Personal Orchestra 5 sounds. Whenever I have a string part and mark it as pizz., it does nothing and it sounds like arco. I am using the GOS KS string sounds, but it's not switching to pizzicato. When I use the default garritan string sounds, it plays pizz just fine, but not the GPO5 strings. Is there a reason why or a way to remedy this?

This is also a problem with me, with the difference that I am using the demo version of Finale v26. I imported a .MUS file from Finale 2003 (I know, super noob here) where the pizzicato expression (icelli doubling the contrabasses) was made and played just fine, but then it played arco in the Finale v26 Human Playback (Classical) setting. Please advise as I have redid it in the original score and did everything I could think of (expression definition, patch assignment etc) but it still won't play the pizzicato. WHICH WAS NOT A PROBLEM IN FINALE 2003 or even Finale Notepad 2008 which I had as a backup lolol. Thanks.

 I am having the same problem....even though I have the strings using KS,  just plays arco all the time.

did anyone find a solution to this.  It used to work.
