What can be done with old Finale software cds? Can I mail them back to Music Maker home office?

Why would you want to do that? If you don’t want them, toss them in the trash. But I would keep them, as a “just in case...’

MakeMusic does not make old versions (pre-2012) available for download except for the updaters that have always been available no other way.

They have not discouraged those of us with old CDs from making the images available to those looking for those older versions. In fact, they've stated that's the only way to get it. You can't activate without that license in your MakeMusic account.

I don't think I have CDs of all my older versions but I have many.

Can I resell my old versions 2006 through 2014? Do I sell the code with the cds? Or would the buyer get their own code?

You can sell them but they're worthless, unless you want to sucker someone to pay you and then have to pay Make Music for an activation code. If you don't have a "junk box" in a closet, just throw them away and be done with it!
