Osea, you created a new post instead of replying to the one you already created. Also, this is a forum for feature requests. Can you not flood the forum with this pettiness?

Osea, in your earlier thread I supported your right to express an opinion. Maybe, as it turned out, a little uncalled for. However, now I think you stretch it.

There's been some discussion about voting here. To start with, I didn't give Osea the -1 vote that I see at present.

It has been said that these votes are helpful evaluating the requests on this forum. I've never seen proof of this, so my suggestion is that this forum dispenses altogether with this in fact rather infantile, bloggish feature.

When I look now, the OP has got -2 votes. (Still without my doing.) This has no serious purpose. MM wouldn't be able to judge anything from this, other than that everyone doesn't love everyone. Blah.

Grow up, stop voting.

What I heartily dislike with these votes, especially the minus ones, is that they are anonymous. I just earned a -1 vote, but the voter would not show his/her face, or enter a discussion with me. How am I, or anyone else one this forum, supposed to be enlightened by this?  

This infantile feature really drags this forum down to blog level.

Ok, I do know that if you let your connotations overshadow your denotations (if you use too strong words in relation to the subject) most people won't listen. But that may be as it is.

I just can't see that the voting feature (plus nor minus) contributes in any discernible way to the value or reception of the ideas presented here. 

This thread was probably not the best one in the history of this forum. Sorry for not having stopped earlier, but now I do. This forum also is probably not the best one in the history of internet communication.
