Win10/Finale 26

Hi!

Anyone out there knowing if it is possible to import/export lyrics between two finale documents? Now I am copying/pasting between Lyrics windows. I am fully aware of that copying music with lyrics also brings lyrics to the new document. But then I also have to struggle with manually music spacing form the source document.... I just want the lyrics from my source document, miraculously put "fresh" into my new empty lyrics window.

I'm not understanding why copy/paste doesn't do what you want. I feel that you're leaving something out.

Sorry I have been away for a moment.

Copying the Lyrics between Lyrics window/or using the export function, reqiures several operatons:

A) Open lyrics window in the source document, select text or export, then close the window, change to goal document, open lyrics window, paste, and then, click assign.

B) Copy notes with the lyrics from one document to another, This requires less operations. But it also brings all manual adjustment of the notes from the source document, and requires removal of this. That would be approximately 12 clicks in addition.

I am looking for something easier. The clone lyrics function is a powerful tool, that requires only two clicks, but works only inside the active document. I could think of something like a clone lyrics funcion between documents is what I am looking for.

Anyway, it does not matter how, the only thing I want is a way do do this with much less amount of operations. There might be a way I am not aware of, or havent discovered yet.....

I am also confused. I can select all the lyrics in the window, copy, go to the new document, open the lyrics menu, and paste.

How is this different from what you are doing?
