Hi!
Please tell me how to change the page numbers in Finale 26?

I know how to do it in the 10th version, but it doesn’t work here.

Many thanks in advance)

You can Edit Page Offset in the Text Tool's Text Menu if you want to start on a different page number than 1.

If you meant you wanted to change something else, please describe what you hope to see.

Thank You very much!
I also want alternate the page numbers, for example, on the left pages the numbers will be on the right, on the right pages - on the left.

Right click on the handle of one of your page numbers (or do the Mac equivalent), and choose the Frame Attributes screen. Then flip the designations for the right and left page positions.

One more question.
We need to make page numbers at the same distance as in the sample. Not yet succeeded.
1. File to be sent to the editor

2. Sample how to make page numbers

It seems that the distances from the edge of the page to the number are different.

Distances seem to be set from the text field handles, which appear to be on different sides of the page numbers in your example. Perhaps setting the text alignment or justification (part of the Text > Edit function) to center would help you equalize the distance.

Thank you, but it’s not very clear what to do)

Perhaps I was wrong and you will have to adjust this manually with a horizontal offset. I have not found the zero offset to look wrong, but if you feel it is, you can play with it until it looks right.

Playing with items of your score (on a copy of the file for safety, of course) is a great way to learn..
