When I listen to music on youtube and use finale at the same time then the music from youtube is not audible.

Windows 10

To start you need to check your audio driver to make sure it is not taking exclusive control of your sound card.

Okey. I found part of the solution here: https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024341474

It worked after I changed the audio driver in Finale from ASIO to Directsound and then chose "Speaker (Realtek(R) Audio) as the source for the output.

But now the sound from finale is a bit lower. Do you know why?

Finale is notorious (at least on my machine) for a lower volume level than other programs, not to mention the widely varying base volumes of different Garritan instruments.
