I am having a problem with notes cutting short. Attached are jpeg's of the score I'm working on and my sound settings (which haven't changed since before the problem started), as well as link to a recording of the problem.

Restarting my computer sometimes works at first, but it quickly comes right back. It seems limited to certain instruments and I believe is pretty consistent as to which instruments each time I open the file. I tried updating my audio driver, which didn't help. I also tried switching to the Windows generic driver, but the sound level was so low I couldn't tell if the problem was still there or not.

I'd be beholden if any of you nice folks could give me a clue as to what's going on.

Are you using VST or MIDI sounds?

What is you Human Playback (HP) setting?

How was the score entered (typed in step input w/ simple or speedy entry, played in via Hyperscribe, XML import, MIDI import)?

Thank you so much for your reply.

Using VST (Garritan Libraries)
HP setting is Romantic
The score was entered manually, using speedy entry.

I hope this helps.

Just searching for something that might help, I selected "Reassign Instrument Sounds" from from the MIDI/Audio menu. I had to go through and set up all the instruments again manually after doing so, but it seemed to work, at first. Then it came back with a vengeance.  All of the voices are doing it, every time, immediately after a fresh restart. What's going on?

If you haven't used the "Submit a request" link to submit your file to MakeMusic Support, that may be your best next step. It seems a strange problem and they may have diagnostic tools we do not have. (They do not generally work on weekends, though; so don't expect an immediate response.)
