Microsoft is pushing its Qualcomm-powered Windows on ARM devices, like the Surface Pro X, as the future of mobile computing. Unfortunately, these mobile processors present major compatibility issues with most music applications, which are not coded for ARM. 32-bit applications can be run in an emulation layer (with a performance hit), and native 64-bit applications like Finale can't be run at all.
Are there any plans to adapt Finale for these processors, recompiling it into an ARM64 application? I don't know how much interest there is in this, and I'm sure it would take a lot of work. Just wondering!
