Instead of getting the advice to delete AU plugins from the computer entirely (ones which you might need in your other DAW's), Finale needs the possibility to blacklist/whitelist AU-plugins to prevent them from loading at startup. It makes absolutely no sense that Finale scans ALL au plugins at startup, even when it's not using any.
Waves, for example, is know to cause problems with Finale. Being able to prevent the package from loading would enable you to still use Waves in your DAW.

Finale, please think about pro-users!
