Finale needs a quick keystroke for switching between concert and transposed!

I have one. It takes two lines of FinaleScript to create one.

I`m not at my office, but it is something like

-----------------------------------------------------

menu item "Display in Concert Pitch..."

-----------------------------------------------------

Select your shortcut key with the checkbox in the upper part of the FS editor window.

I created one really quick using the following script. I also attached it to a simple keyboard shortcut (⌘ + Shift + " 1 ").

SKJALG BJØRSTAD is correct, the script is literally:

Menu Item "Display in Concert Pitch"

---

I do agree that this should be a standard part of Finale...

I use Keyboard Maestro (Mac only) to define missing shortcuts. Easy and efficient.

Here are some examples :

Michel Herr,

Two of the examples on your list already have a shortcut in Finale (as a standard part of Finale):

Document Options: ⌥⌘A

ScoreManager: ⌘K

Am I missing something?

By The Way:

You can also use the Mac OS control panel Keyboard to create shortcuts.

Peter,

I'll explain.

I have recreated some shortcuts to integrate them in the logic I have used for the ones I have created for commands which didn't have one at all.

My workflow benefits from the homogeneity. Easier to remember. Shift+Ctrl are common for all.

Shift+-Ctrl+S for Score Manager, Shift+-Ctrl+O for document Options are easier to remember than the ones Finale suggests.

I know about the System Preferences method, but It is unpredictable on my set-up. The shortcuts I have defined for 25 suddenly appear as 2014.5, and some don't work at all. MakeMusic support couldn't explain why, and won't guarantee that these shortcuts (System Preferences) will work on a non-US MacOS and keyboard....

Keyboard Maestro is much more consistent and reliable.
