Hello.
I have a project that needs to be shared between v26 and v25.5
When I open a document submitted by copyist from v26 in my version v25.5 I get all articulations misplaced. Is there any setting that can be turned off in v26 to prevent this?

Are documents fully compatible between these two versions? What can be done in order to achieve this, if not?

Thank you.

There was a way to tell F26 not to update a F25 document to F26 format, but if your copyist does this, he or she is not able to take advantage of the new features (and accompanying workflow) that F26 provides.

The question is the purpose of providing you a document in return. If it is for proofing or printing, perhaps your copyist could send you an XML file, which should open in F25 without misplacing elements of the file.

(The copyist could also provide you an F26 format file for you to set aside against the day when you  upgrade to F26.)

Your copyist when opening your file for the first time sees a message asking him if he wants to have the articulations upgraded to version 26. He should say no to this option, which leaves the articulations current with your version.

Thank you very much for the explanation!

What about new entries?
If a document from v25 is opened and the articulations are NOT upgraded to version 26, than what happens with newly inserted articulations?
If the document opens back in v25, will they be left as in v25 or upgraded?

If you open in V26 and choose to not use the new articulations, then the articulations will remain as they were in V25.
