I was pulling up previous Finale files (pre-2005) and I had several options for a General Midi Drum Kit.  One of things I loved about the previous kits is the sound of the drum roll.  It was much more of a 'buzz' than gunshots.

I found an old post (circa 2005) that listed them (see below).  Are those gone?   For what I do, the GM drum kit works best for me, but this previous version had more options.  Any help will be appreciated.

For General MIDI Level 1 and 2, using MIDI channel 10 (and optionaly for 11 for Level 2 only), and the following Program Changes (Patches) [i.e. with a 1 offset, from a possible range from 1-128]:

057 SFX Set

Also, Finale 2005, using the SmartSynth soundfont "port", also supports

002 Marching Band Percussion Set.

As to support for Brushes, there are specificly supported in PC#41, the Brush Set:
