How can I put a double barline into a measure (like this) in Finale 26.0.1.655 - Windows?

Measure Tool.

Double-click the measure before the barline.

Do you intend the bar before the pause with fermata?

I am not sure I understand.

The “pause with fermata” is in the measure before the barline you need to make a double barline.

From the Measure Tool, double-click on that very measure.

You get to the Measure Attributes where you can choose a Double Barline (right barline).

In your attached graphic I see a double barline after the “pause with fermata” (= a double barline ending the measure).

I thought you were trying to create that double barline.

If I misunderstand you, then I apologise.

Yes, I'm not so well in english so I apologise but you understood right. The problem is that the double barline is not at the end of an entire measure, it's in a bar of 6/8, so I don't know how to put a barline into a measure, between the 2nd and the 3rd eighth.

In that case I would use the plug-in Split Measure to split the measure where the double barline is needed.

When the plug-in has split the measure into two measures, you can choose a double barline at the end of the first measure.

I've tried that plug-in but the result is this. How can I delete that padblock?

I just noticed the option on the Split bar plug-in. I resolved. Thank you.
