I sometimes experience problems when importing a file from an earlier version of Finale into 2014.5. To this point the problems have been cleared by going to the Finder on my 2011 Mac Mini, trashing preferences, and rebooting.

Not this time!

I have zapped the PRAM, shut down the computer completely, done everything I can think of, but

every file I have gives me very limited access to editing parameters.

Help!

What computer Operating System(s) are you using (and what versions)?

Sorry, J Adrian...should have included in my original post. Yosemite, 10.10.5. New hard drive. Eventually got Finale to start working, but it's sluggish. No other program are, to the best of my knowledge. Thank you!!
