I regularly use playback with Garritan instruments to check the score as I go along. I recently added extra bars to a piece, but playback stops in the middle of the piece where the last bar was, before I extended it.

I have tried closing Finale and starting again

I have tried clearing all Midi data.

If I try to start playback in the middle of the new section of the music it stops without playing anything
