Can we get a feature that actually clears ALL items? Right now it leaves the repeats, and it leaves the lyrics in the lyric window. Something that should take two clicks takes lots of extra cleanup. Thanks.

Why not just start a new score?

Great thought, however, I arrange mostly for various types of ukulele on tablature and Finale has never taken tabs seriously or non-orchestral instruments seriously so I have to work from a blank I've built with the multiple types of chords and instruments I need. It's much faster to clear an old score than to rebuild from the standard stuff in Finale.

Clear everything that you don't want from the document, manually. Then, save that as a new template.

That's what I do Mike. I know the work-arounds ... we all know the work-arounds if we're composing for anything non-standard ... sigh. BUT, it doesn't change the basic premise. Shouldn't "Clear All" actually clear all? It leaves repeats and lyrics for no apparent reason. When you clear all you don't want those to remain.

“… It leaves repeats …”

Unfortunately I am unable to duplicate that.

For me, {Clear All Items} clears repeats.

Can you provide steps to reproduce the problem where {Clear All Items} does not clear repeats?
