I'm wondering if there is a way to find a specific item in a score? For example, if i have an expression I know is used in the score, is there a way to search the entire score for instances of that expression? Of course, it could be anything (articulation, instance of text, etc.). It would seem a fairly simple request but I'm not finding a way to do this in the manual. 

I do have the new version of TG Tools and Tobias does have a plugin for that, but can Finale do that without Tobias' help?

I may have spoken too soon. I tried it and TG Tools doesn't seem to work in that regard, unless I'm missing something.

"Edit > Text Search and Replace" will do some of what you want, but it doesn't show you the instances you are looking for first, it just replaces all of them at once with whatever you want.

The "JW Navigate" Plug-in can also be used to a certain extent - it can find Text, Rehearsal Marks, Measure Numbers, etc. (without replacing them)
