Extract Parts Failing

I have a 10-instrument score. They all appear on screen, and they all sound correctly when I play back. But when I go to extract the parts, the trombone part does not appear on the list in the Extract Parts dialog box, and I therefore can't extract it. Any clues why this might be happening and how I correct it?

(This is similar to a query four years, to which no responses were given)

The instrument names in the extract parts dialog box reflect the instrument names used in the score manager.

Yes I agree, Jeffrey, and 'Trombone' appears in the same way on screen, in score manager, everywhere, just as the other nine instruments do, but for some reason, 'Trombone' is not included in the Extract Parts dialog box. Weird!

You can add the Trombone linked part (from which extracted parts descend although most just edit and print the linked parts) in the Manage Parts dialogue.

(You could generate all the parts to add the Trombone, but that will overwrite the format of the parts you already have--unless you have already extracted them.)

Thanks, brilliant, Adrian. Just for the record, ...

1. I saved the file with a new version number to protect parts already done
2. I hit 'generate parts', and got the trombone part I needed to extract

Not sure why it wasn't there in the first place, and perhaps I never will.
