I'm now on version 26. I created a custom tablature staff (banjo) in the 2014 version of Finale, and carried over the tab templates to this version (the templates just have a tablature staff, rather than a system consisting of one staff of tab and one of standard). I'm able to enter tab just fine with the simple note entry but now that I'm trying speedy entry (entering from a midi keyboard) I'm running into trouble. I can see that the program is recognizing the midi (standard) notes, but when the notes get converted to tab, they appear as random numbers, and all on the same string. Also pitch range seems to be reversed - higher keyboard notes are showing up as lower numbers in tablature and vice versa. I checked the setting under Windows/Score Manager/ Settings/Tablature and the strings are still set to the correct pitches. Any idea what might have gone wrong?
