I'd already had Finale's audio playback abruptly quit, apparently never to be resurrected - Finale support has no cure for it. And now, after installing - as directed by the Finale software - Aria 1.959, audio playback has abruptly ceased on another computer.
Audio playback works on every other piece of software on these computers - but Finale TOTALLY FAILS.
For me, it means I'm going to have to move to Sibelius or something else in order to do my job. I'm having to cancel virtual rehearsals for God knows how many weeks because of this FAILURE. I've used Finale since the first day it was available, and I am frustrated and angry that what has served me so well for so long has completely tanked in a time when - for me - it could never be more critical.
