Hi

After recently purchasing the Yamaha CFX its said the Classic perspective most faithfully captures the natural tonal character clarity and nuance of the instrument, does that mean the default present of the Classic perspective is what Abbey Road sound engineers consider to be the most natural sound coming from the CFX?

Also when on a real acoustic piano very slowly releasing the sustain pedal causes a crisp vibration from the strings just before the pedal is fully lifted as opposed to lifting the sustain pedal quickly causing a compete mute of the strings.

I've tried applying this effect with the Abbey Road CFX, however when releasing the sustain pedal very slowly there is NO crisp vibration from the strings only a complete mute of the strings.

I take it then the CFX doesn't support sustain release samples? I noticed when playing the Classic Perspective default preset on the CFX there is a warm ambient reverb that was recorded with it, i take it this must be the natural ambient sound environment of AR1 ?
